As the clock struck 6 AM ... I went out on my house roof to check the weather on this early foggy morning. I watched here and there until I heard the chants of mantras from the Gurudwara near my house. As the minutes passed by I could see the sun rolling up in the sky. It was a matter of a few minutes and the night broke into dawn. I could sense the change. It was happening right in front of my eyes. The darkness turned into light. I felt as if the earth was moving, actually it is moving. But feeling it locomote is something that normally people don't perceive. It was delightful how the gloomy night turned into a dulcet morning. I never expected the morning to be so delicious. I believed even our life is like the earth which keeps rotating and time is like the sun which changes our sorrows into rejoices. Its like a cycle. If joy is there, there will be sorrow and if sorrow is there, there will be joy.
Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. ---> Bible -- Psalms 30:5
The sorrows in our life are meant to be temporary and so is happiness. Change is necessary, for a man to keep realizing that his job is not over. He will have to work till his final breath. That's the way of life. In life, there is no retirement, one has to keep himself rubbing against the stone of life and it will be the cause for the change. If a person stops working then he might lose the joy he already has. As they say, there are no free lunches. This world is a creation of god, though atheists may not agree with me but I believe that there is a supreme power ruling above all of us and we all are mere characters. Its just like a video-game. Only the developer knows the cheats and the loopholes in the game unless he tells anyone else. Here, On earth, the developer either shares the secret of the game with others or the smarter breed finds it itself. Though, the creator of this game, Life that is, God is not stupefied that he is going to tell everyone the secrets of this game. One has to play it, experience it and win it. As the new stages come by, the difficulty level of the game will increase. The person will experience new challenges and hurdles in his Life and he will have to go through it. Only the fittest will survive.
Happiness and Sorrows are a part of life, what really matters is that how we deal with them. It's our dealing with our griefs and rues that matters and It is prospect in which we experience life. We can consider a small change in our life irrelevant or we can take full control of it and make it large.
Its our perspective of perceiving things, that matters the most.
Hmm, you indeed touched spirituality @ 6. Glad that you were able to carry it forward and describe beautifully in words.
ReplyDeleteAlso, rightfully said, life is large and mystical. The karma for happiness or sorrow finally boils down to how you perceive everything.
thnx

ReplyDeleteIndeed a beautiful description..life is so full of irony, things we expect to happen are granted in the contrary but if there was only happiness, how would we appreciate it?Happiness wud not even feel good if it didnt have any sadness to compare and contrast it with..dats what i tell myself when things dont seem to get any better..and rightly said...wat really matters is how we deal with them...
