My Victory!!

Now you talk about victory,
This one's mine.

Oh! I earned it,
This one's mine.

It was a struggle, I had a hard time,
but this one's mine.

You walked long, tried in time,
However, this one's mine.

I love this stardom, the sun shines,
This one's mine.

No regrets no more,
May be another time, this one's mine.

I was alone, you were nine,
And this one's mine.

I heard your cry's, I liked it,
Winning it right, this one's mine.

Grey's gone, I've walked far,
This walk, this one is mine.

Now there's no stopping for me,
'cause I won this time.

I like the sound of the people,
They are savored chimes, this one's mine.

This is just the beginning,
It's a sweet rhyme.

Manager Sir

I remember the first time,
When I had introduced myself to you.
"Hello Sir, Anshul here."
And you said,"Who are you?"

I was taken aback,
My eyes were glued.
"Oh! are you the new guy?"
I said Wow! This is really new.

Your eyes gleamed.
They beamed, they beamed.
Hurry got you going,
You went in a swing.

Next time we met,
Was in a meeting.
I don't wanna talk about it,
and this isn't called cheating.

Last friday we talked,
Over the dinner and drinks.
"Hello sir! It's Anshul again."
And you said, "You are from the ETL team?"

I Wow-ed again,
And bowed to you.
My image wasn't clear,
And it was undue.

You said you're a good person,
but I do believe,
That flipping the coin,
takes no creed.

You told me you're not religious,
But are spiritual.
It's a great feeling,
Even though not very mutual.

You are an enthusiast,
Full of humour, apt.
Courageously new,
And full of tact.

And there's a haze, behind that cloud,
that walks you over the sun.
That simple smile, I've seen it though,
its like a shooting gun.

What is it?

What changes you? What don't?
Fear, does it hit you hard?

Life is an irony, a game.
Shakespeare did say, what's in a name?

What tune we played?
did I miss a key?

Randomness is normal,
Did we not see?

Are you a free bird?
Or caged on this planet?

Heard a thousand cries,
Seen ten thousand tears.

What is all this cribbing about?
Is it just the noises that I hear?

All the people around me,
all, full of jeers.

Why do they fight so much?
What cost does each bear?

What about joy? That I see so less,
Each tear, fills up my eyes and ears.

Having said and done it before,
Cannot blame a name.

I see you getting hurt,
I see your pain.

And the tryst, that happened one time,
It caused blur, did sing a song.

Yes, it was good,
from dusk to dawn.

Will it continue like this?
or will it change?

Its up to you now.
The ball is yours.
